Sorry you missed Kenmore Jim...........
I noticed that setting sun at this time of year hinders vision.
I will take a drive out this afternoon and hunt the verge again for your new driving glasses

:cheers

Oh, NO! That's a real shame. Car was looking lovely at Camusdarach too.
It's easy done- a good number of people on here have done the same over the years (me included ) .
Just glad no-one is hurt.
Hope you get things sorted and back in the saddle!

Mmmm the back ones certainly weren't pointing in the right direction.........

Very sorry to see that, but as others have said, so long as you walk away, the rest doesn't really matter (been there, done that :-)).

The rears pointing the wrong way is often not terminal - toe links are easy to break and wishbones are easy to bend - the chassis mounts tend to survive.

That's not to say it will be fixed by the insurance, but somebody could perhaps get it back on the road again ...

Cheers,
Robin

Wow - Glad you are OK.

Was thinking at Camusdarach that it is such a beautiful and "safe" colour. Just let me know if you need any T-cut

Jim seems pretty philosophical about it all but for insurance purposes may prefer to keep his own counsel until everything is tidied up.

Though, for avoidance of speculation, I don't believe there is any "back story" or conspiracy theory.

Jim - was desperately to hear of your evening ending prematurely and in that way. Once you have the replacement on your drive, why not look up our ol buddy Andrew Walsh, sometime racer and former test driver who runs http://www.carlimits.com. I have been to one of his skills days and the insight is significant.

All the best

A Walshy session is a fabulous lesson in car control, as well as damned good fun...well worth the trip/money.
