Hi Dom

I lifted to body off,and that was as far as I got,so the doors, bonnet, bumpers interioretc is out it.
I had the engine started,a bit rough, but that was 5 years ago,and it has not been on the road since 1981

really needs a FULL rebuild I would think, bit it is all there.

I was going to split it and put it on ebay.

I was half asleep this morning :tired (6 out of past 7 nights on call) & was dreaming of a motorsport special

No where really to keep the thing. Or the time to do it (just now).

Was off looking for pictures of the Elite - assume it's the 2 door not the 4 door, but not the "type 14"?

Not that I have a hope of taking it off your hands and doing anything with it afterwards, but was interested to know what it looked like. Anyway came across this lovely photograph:

Where do they find them!

Best of luck with this Stu ...

That was one of the pre production cars so the pic would definitely be circa 1994....note that the soft top had not yet been designed :) and the seat backs were trimmed

Thanks Lawrence - that was the model my father in law owned, though his was black. Of course it never worked ... he was hankering after another sports car, but having seen his driving, I think this would be asking for trouble :-)

Thats the one.

The boot(hatch back) has a glass partition from the rest of the car,and is quite bis,but not German Shepherd size.

Interested in a swap for Mandys elise?
