Standards and service are still high at MMC. :thumbsup

I contacted Craig to see if he could fit me in to replace all the tyres and to have the brake/clutch fluid replaced before the Arisaig trip. He managed to allocate a slot at short notice and I travelled down early this morning so to be there for 8:30.

The guys started on the car straight away while I had a look at Kingers old car collection in the showroom.

The Motorsport Green colour looks really nice on the Elise and would look good on the new Exige.

In no time at all the car was ready and Callum even managed to repair the problem that I had with the reversing lights (Neil noticed that they were staying on all the time before Sundays run, so i took out the bulbs) which was caused by a faulty switch.

I also mentioned to Craig that I don't mind coming all the way down to Edinburgh with the car, because its satisfying to know that your looked after and the costs are very good indeed. Also the run back over Glenshee is always entertaining.

Keep up the good work lads :cheers

Steve.

Having received my reminder for my road tax, it reminded me that the wee car needs a service. A call to Murrays and in the capable hands of Jim, as Craig was on holiday, the car is booked in. I had a list of things I knew needing addressed on top of the usual service. I did get a shock when Jim called to tell me that my cat had died, and Lotus would love £900 to replace it! A quick look around SE and other forums I decided to go for the Eliseparts cat. Had it delivered to Murrays and they happily fitted it for me. Addressed to Craig as he was was returning from holiday and Jim was leaving to go. It turns out Craig is used to getting parcels from Eliseparts etc... :D
Alignment was done by CLCM via Murrays and all is good again.
Was due to pick the car up yesterday when I remembered the MOT is due, Craig no problem I’ll fit it in and you can pick the car up tomorrow morning.
This is the first time that I’ve used Murrays and the service was fantastic and the price reasonable. :thumbsup

Hi guys,

I wanted to get it looked over as new to these machines! I got speaking to Craig at Murrays and he advised to get a decent C service done on the car, current miles 33k. FSH but timing belt was last done in 2008. Took it over Monday morning and had a list of queries for him.

Can't praise Murrays enough! all done and dusted the next morning, fully itemised and costs give for any additional work I wished them to carry out and Craig went over everything I had on the list, tips/advice given.

Glad to know I picked up a good one too!

Cheers Craig and the team!

P.S The matt black Evora in the showroom is to die for! :)

Allan

Dropped the car off for annual service & MOT & a few maintenance issues sorted while I was on holiday. Excellent communication from Craig about how things were progressing and a lower bill than I expected when I picked the car up. :thumbsup

Hats off to Craig again for some brilliant back office organisation skills after an alternator went bad with an Esprit V8 in France.

The 'local' Lotus dealership wouldn't touch it as it wasn't new enough, so we had to use the recommended garage by AA. Some training methinks required with Lotus at Tours.

They couldn't get the part for another week, so a quick call to Craig and the part was with them within 48hrs.

Expecting another delay in fitting, or lack of knowledge, we were surprised to be told the car would be ready early next afternoon.

Big rounds of applause to Craig and also to Turbo Techniques in Chateauraux for their labour charge of just over £100.

This is getting tedious now.... Another big thumbs up again for Craig, Callum and the team at Murray's. Car serviced, additional problems fixed, and all for a very reasonable price.

Top service again!

The man is a legend - he managed to get one of my fleet back i shape without me even there to drive it today, and helped a damsal in distress.

Are there no end to this mans talents?

He even sent her off with a gift for me! No joke.

One day we might even manage a beer together Craig :cheers :thumbsup

And again. .Craig and his team picked up an issue on the C4 which wasn't noticed by official dealership. Problem fixed and MOT passed.

CHEERS and hope to see you at Xmas Gathering

The exhaust on my 2007 Elise S sounded terrible (turns out it had rusted away and was blowing heavily).

I spoke to Craig with the intention of ordering a 2bular and having MMC fit it together with a TRD airbox. Craig had better ideas and produced an almost new oval exhaust from a supercharged Elise that he had in the shed.

Within 90 minutes the exhaust & TRD were fitted, it sounded great and I'd saved the price of a new exhaust! Result! :)

Murray Lotus in working on MINIs Shocker

Mytyres let me down with only part shipment of winters, so couldn't get booked into our regulars CLCM in time for a dicey trip to Leeds last week ("arctic blast" forecast etc etc).

Craig took it all in hand, all very last minute by me yet the car was ready early on winter rims and boots. Screenwash topped up for the big dash. And Brucie bonus of storage for our summer rims, was not expecting that one.

And will spare Craig...or his FD...blushes about the cost :thumbsup

Thank you Craig and team, made a real difference at a very stressful time.

Great to see Brandon reinstalled too.

Merry Christmas!
