I moved desks and am using a bloomin keyboard I have to beat the crap out of to work!

I shall start again,

I bought one from ebay, it cost 30(ish) quid, delivered, it is amazingly bright and really good quality.

Use it all the time and the battery life is fantastic, it has withstood a few falls on the GasGas and been dropped a lot, the single micro LED is the brightest I have seen.

I had one of these, but the battery fell off somewhere as It's not great for securing. Going to have a look for the light unit tonight & order another battery if I kept it.

you are not wrong the pouch the battery comes in is crap, but I always have a rucksack on my for the camel pack etc, so I fixed the head mount part to my helmet and run the cable over my back to the rucksack - far better than when I had the light on the bars and the battery on the bike with the cable flying about!

I have that exact bike Mike , It really depends sometimes yes others no. I rode a 26 for years before jumping ship. I am 6 feet tall just to gauge my opinion.
Pros 1/ I tested to top model £1500 for the weekend before buying the base model £1000

• and unless your hardcore there was no difference between them with the exception of the forks but for £500 no thanks also the lockout on the bars is handy but no big deal.
  2/ Its way better going uphill on any surface , takes less effort , i find myself getting three or four more pedals in going up some tracks and not stopping on others where i used to have to , this is very satisfying.
  3/ More speed on the straights
  4/ Climbs over obstacles with ease , went over a fairly large fallen tree which i thought to be honest i would not have made and made it no probs its times like that when its great.
  Cons
  1/ Not too cleaver on the downhill stuff , if find it hard to really commit to flat out in the corners as it seams to feel ok then one loose piece of gravel and i sh*t myself as the bars want to lock and through me off [its going to happen] so i find myself backing off a bit then feeling slightly disappointed ......and old.
  Would i buy it again ...yes more good points than bad , a good bike to, gears, forks , tyres ,seat no probs with it having done about 300k now . Hope that helps.

Anyone uploading their GPX files to Strava ? superb for competitive segments on your route. Spotted Mr Arnott on there I am using the free Android app from Sports-Tracker.com to create the GPX.
