I did it in 1:37 which I was pretty hacked off with at the time. I was aiming for well inside 1:30, but I was in a huge pack of slow moving runners until we got over the Tyne bridge. So my advice would be forget about the time, treat it just as a fun run and soak up the atmos which is great - the support along the way from the croud was superb. Oh, and savour the first pint afterwards - it will never taste better!
