2014 SE Calendar - urgent - don't put it off!

Post by Karen » Sat Nov 09, 2013 9:03 am

Will 2013 really be the last edition of the Scottish Elises calendar? :(

Thanks to those for sending your pictures at the last minute to make the voting happen and to those for voting over the last week.

Thanks to the one regular SE member who paid for a calendar; the minimum order of 50 has not been met and it would seem the appetite for the SE calendar has run it course and therefore a 2014 edition won't be printed.

Finally, thanks again to those that have supported this since 2007.

Here's to a happy and healthy 2014

Karen

EDITED - Sunday 10th November:

EDITED - Sunday 10th November by Mods - made this sticky to draw more attention, updated title to make clearer, and added link to ordering directly here - http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... 15&t=37391

Aw that's a shame.. I must admit I did vote but didn't pay.
I saw the deadline for voting but didn't see any deadline for paying. Doh! Should have just paid at the same time!!

Oh ball-ocks. I saw that the voting was up and running last Friday but couldn't see the photos for some net nanny reason when logging in from offshore and company computer. Meant to return from another one but forgot until today. Came in to vote from laptop and order 4. My bad. I appreciate that maybe's and buts are not good enough for somebody who is busy like you, so apologies. Thanks for all your efforts, even your wasted ones this year.

Oh. Missed the paying message and when I tried to view the photos I was on a phone...

(Thanks so much for your efforts over the years - when we did up our downstairs bathroom Mrs Pete rejected toilets until we found one with a flat cistern on top of which the SE calendar sits. We designed our bathroom around your efforts. I admit that last sentence sounds wrong.)

Karen I'm guessing I like others must have missed the Calender thread for voting and paying - how far short were we from the number required?

Aw nuts, appreciate your frustration Karen, I completely forgot to go back to the voting after having a quick trawl through when you posted them.

I only had 1 order so with a minimum of 50, we were 49 short.

A few other people have said that they didn't see the voting thread either. If there is enough interest and we can get the 50 paid for, I'm quite happy to still do it. I would re-post the voting thread again and give everyone another week. Let me know if you want me to do it again as it will be a quick copy, cut and paste which is a lot quicker than it took me the first time round!

I'll order still if its going ahead. Must admit I didn't see the request for payment. Maybe it would be worth while the mods/admin sending out a PM to all members offering them for sale?

Not everyone is on here everyday, and threads are easily missed. Although the calendar is worth a PM for IMO

I'll take 2 if it's still happening. Hadn't noticed the voting or payment threads...
