New Evora owner!

Nice choice if car you've made there.
Re: New Evora owner!
Welcome to the Evora club!! I am just about to sell mine, but it has been a fantastic car, and 100% reliable in my three years of ownership!!

The Evora has hardly been used in the last 12 months, just due to circumstances more than anything else, so looking to replace Evora and X5 with a semi serious day to day road car ( 335d xdrive touring) and a hardcore toy!
Still got a choice of Landies for the winter months!!

Quite recently, the saloon has been out since July, and the 335d touring 4x4 gets launched next month.Scotty C wrote:when did BMW start doing 4x4 3 series?

Re: New Evora owner!
AFAIK BMW have done 4x4 3 series for years, just not for the UK market. I guess their reputation in the snow in recent winters has damaged their sales, so they have re-thought that decision. Makes sense to me.
A 4x4 high performance deisel BM is a very attractive package!

Back on original thread with congratulations on the purchase.

Have you been over on the 'other forum' (The Lotus Forums) where there is a big Evora technical section for help and advice with lots posted about exhausts and when there, if you go into the regional section you can sign up for LEGS (Lotus Enthusiast Group Scotland) section where many of us here also lurk then you will get PM's about other wider happenings although usually posted on here as well. I am one of the Regional leaders over there and you will be very welcome.

Re: New Evora owner!
cheers Al, just seen this on return from holidays (bit of a shock dropping nearly 40 degrees!). I'll have a look at the forum - that's a helpful tip as I do want to tweak the exhaust a little bit. I'll look out for the LEGS section too.
