No more vx for me :(

Post by Lazydonkey » Thu Jan 16, 2014 10:24 pm

Some of you will have seen this on bookface but I sold the vx tonight after 9 amazing years and 80k miles.
So many memories, so many great runs and ive met so many great pals due to the silly car and this amazing site.

I'll be sticking around here and hopefully in a lotus at some point this year..... But for the moment my money is heading towards a house.

Which sounds horribly grown up when you type it out.......

Hopefully the new owner will enjoy it for the next 9 years. Or is that months. Or weeks. Or days? Surely not days.....?
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I heard you sold it on to some clueless wonder who believed you when you told him that tonnes of stuff had been replaced.

Thank goodness you've got rid of it since the engine was on it's way out. :thumbsup

I take it you don't need me to test drive it anymore to try and find that clunky rattle from the steering????

I'm just glad you sold it before that big bill you were worried about.

New owner is a long term SE-er

He is well aware he got a great deal on a quality motor with no known issues !
