Good morning
Whilst, rather optimistically, sticking my hard top in my garage at the weekend I cliped the old mini that seems to be hanging about in there and now have a tiny chip in the paint

It is really annoying me but i'm sure Halfords don't stock touch-up paint for Lotus so do I have to order it in specially from somewhere for a small fortune or, like most parts on my Elise, is the colour stolen off some 'run-of-the-mill' car like a metro?
It's an Azure S1 Elise by the way.....

IMHO touch up paint always looks sh*t. I have the azure pen and tried it on my wnig mirror, Looked pretty pump, mind you probably my ham fistedness.

If you can put the touch up paint on in thin coats then polish it down gently flush with the old paint it can look really good almost perfect .
Then I make an arse of it with the lacquer , I have not figured that bit out yet .
