Looks like it's sold out now?

John, are you keeping a reserve list?

Yes, got a couple of people on the list already. Drop me an email on john@sidc.co.uk to add your name to the list (much easier for me than PMs)

Hey all,

I've got a bit of a request if anyone is feeling particularly generous:

I'm aiming to pick up another Lotus at the end of the year if all goes to plan. I've been lucky enough to own 3 Loti in the past but they have all been S2 variants (and even a VX220  ).

This time around I'm interested in buying an S1 (primarily as it's a little cheaper to get into and roof aside, I think it would be nice to own the original Elise). My exposure to the S1 basically culminates in a couple of miles on the road thanks to kind owners, as it's been someone else's car I haven't really driven one hard.

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to allow me to PAX with them on track during the SIDC day in their S1 so that I can get a sense of how the base car feels at 10/10ths.

Knowing me I will probably end up back in an S2 (as I'm a big softie) but I'd be very interested to see what the S1 is like on track.

If anyone can help it'd be very much appreciated.

TIA 8)

-Mark.

Edited as my slow phone os resulted in a lot of gobble-de-gook being posted!

You will be lucky if there is an S1 on track apart from me Mark, as I have been the only one there the last two times.

ps:- just noticed that Dom is booked on.

Thanks for the offer Stu, not sure it's that close to a standard S1 however! :damnfunny

Will still take you up on it though 8)

Dom. I am also looking to maybe get into an S1 as I have to do a big car realignment later in the year and the S2 Exige may have to go. I will come and look for you to do some Pax laps as a 135 or 160 S1 is what I am going to go for if the Exige gets sold.

I was thinking about a Honda S1 but if that were the case I would have to get some Pax laps with Tut, hence the desire for a 135 or 160 :D :D :D :D :D
