Surely the S2 has heated seats, or what is the point of it?

Congratulations Tut. I suppose we all deserve a little more comfort in our old age. Look forward to you passing me in it!

I have heard that the S2 heater is not as good as the S1, but is this just on some cars or in general.

Dont think there is much between them, but surely heaters are for girls

I have recently been converted to the warm glow that is heated seats - absolutely amazing for bad back sufferers :thumbsup

Not when you are driving over Glenshee in Winter Keith with the roof off.

Also have a Lotus heated jacket which is very effective.

I remember having the S2 Toyota S for a while; the heater was rubbish. I've always found the S1 heater to be pretty good TBH. You should get one of the fully lined and insulated S2 roofs Tut ;)

The heater fans fail for various reasons. The coolant flow through the matrix is largely the same.

I ended up buying a new one for Egor after the cowling disintegrated.

Main thing that breaks it is impacts, so avoid crashing.

Cheers,
Robin

Great tip that Robin, must remember it. :D

Flying down on the 10th to Bristol to pick her up, BMI direct. Thought of driving down with Craig's trailer so that I could pick up the wheels as well, but that would mean an overnight stay. The same with train, which was also a stupid price. However googled flights and this site came on the top, www.cheapoair.com, never heard of it before but it came up at £86 with a cancellation policy, and no other was near that.

Will find that Courier that specialises in wheel delivery.

Tut. Paisley freight services will courier your wheels. £30 to the central belt. Not sure if there will be a surcharge for Old dear. If there is a gig jump in cost I would be happy to have them delivered to me and we can pony express them from mine.
