Listening to an interview with him on the radio this morning - he did race Radical, although no mention of how he did and has completed enough races to qualify for licence required to compete at Le Mans.

As in Wing Commander Andy Green (the real fastest man on the planet) ?

Not for sure, but I do know that he was getting race experience in and he drove Paul Golding's Elise in the LOTRDC series.
