Re: yellow S1 Mugiemoss Road
Saw it last night on Balgownie Road. It recently had the front clam a different colour so suspect it has been resprayed and the bra is there to protect the new paint. I will make sure and stop the car the next time I spot it and find out who the driver is and why he is not on here

Re: yellow S1 Mugiemoss Road
Spotted a yellow S1 this morning in Rosemount with the front section(where the bra would be) sprayed in a dark colour. It was either a very dark green or black.

Re: yellow S1 Mugiemoss Road
Hi guys, that'll be my ropey looking car!
I decided to make a set of moulds from the front clam after a roadkill incident at the start of the year, and when I took them off they took half the paint off with them!
It's all rattlecan black at the moment but should be getting a new carbon clam built up in the next month or so.
Don't need a carbon clam, but had wanted to give moulding and vacuum bagging a try. Met a few guys who'd done it with Nobles at the autosport show so had a bit of a go big or go home moment!
Looks properly ugly just now, but I rebuilt all the front suspension at the same time having done the rear towards the end of last year, so ironically it's the best its been driving in a long time!
More of a lurker on here but I'm usually looking about and fully aware I've got one of the roughest looking elises on the go for now!

Unfortunately Ian, the one that would have made yours look good has gone to pastures new.

I'm near rosemount, but work in bridge of don so back and forth that way a lot.
Tut, I think you've seen my horrible car! I was parked up with my mates RS4 up cairn o mount a few weekends back when you and a whole heap of other lotii went past the other way, everyone waving!
Met you and N3 on a few of the pistonheads runs, sad to think its gone, but the new one looks excellent!

You were working late this evening.

Hi Ian,
Saw you the other day on Anderson drive
Whilst your car is not a show winner in terms of asthetics, I must "doth my cap" to you for using the little yellow car all year round/every day!!

Re: yellow S1 Mugiemoss Road
Did see you eric the other night, thankfully just out and about rather than late at work!
I-mac, were you the other s1 in traffic heading the other way?
I'm just looking forward to getting the work done on the front shell, ive had people talking to me and saying it looks OK, I keep saying it doesn't! Starting to wind me up a bit actually!
Had it 5 years and done 30,000ish miles in it. Not as much as some, but I'll drive it anywhere, sun, rain or snow!
