Donkey buys an evora

Post by Lazydonkey » Sat Jun 28, 2014 7:32 pm

Hello.

The name is donkey and this is my first ish post on SE. :D

For those not on bookface I've just picked up an aspen white 10 plate na evora from Murrays.

30k on the clock with sports, tech, xenon, body coloured handles (really) on a long box with standard zaust.

To say I'm pleased with it would be a massive understatement and ive not stopped grinning since I picked it up.

Sold the vx in January but a change in job has meant a halved annual mileage. So the scene was set for a new fun daily driver. Nothing came close to the evora for drama and it is civilised enough to get the seal of approval from Mrs donkey.

Plans involved changing the approach ramp to my garage so I can get the bloody thing into it and not a lot else.

Well for the moment.

Probably.

Almost certainly.

Brandon and Craig were the perfect double act as normal and went above and beyond to get me the right car at a right price. Craig fitted a new pioneer head unit as I knew I'd hate the alpine but other than that it's as it left the factory.

And it's bloody marvellous.

It's surprisingly practical too :D

Dickhead.........but congratulations.

Does that mean that we will have both an Elise and an Evora on the VX220 Highland Hoon now?

Loving it! Probably the only car that would tick all the boxes after my VX. Especially as the wife won't go anywhere in the VX. Would love a nosey round it some time!

Oooh, we just bought one of them too! Looks great, a bit heavier than the previous model but goes round corners brilliantly. Once with the brand you stick with it and nothing else compares. Think it's our 3rd Dyson iirc.

Cheers!

Ps. Nice car too
