I called them yesterday to find out what model they were and confused best explains the response. So still no idea whether they are standard pads or rs14's

I did similar, they said "yes they are Pagids"

"Yes" I said, "but could you let me know the type of Pagids?"

"Brake pads"

"Yeah.....erm....thanks"

That was what I got. Apparently Rs14's are still in development for the Elise per the technical guy and if you want something really good they can supply green stuff!

The same pads are available slightly cheaper £19 here. I got a set Pagids for the Vantage from them, they are the same spec as OEM but half the price of what Aston Martin charge.
There's also various discount codes that can be added depending on the amount the order is for.

CarParts4less is euro I think. But tends to be cheaper like you say.

I bought some Pagids from Eurocarparts for the Golf GTi when I had it - assuming they were decent pads. They were terrible; got brake fade after two or three firm applications. Soon realised that there are different specs of pad! If those posted are the good ones, that is a mega deal... IF!!!

Yep, you're correct they are one and the same, the only difference I've found is that parts ordered through carparts4less take a day or two longer to get here.

Can always return them if they're not what you expect, but I'd put money on them being Pagids OEM type pads.

Yep, they are standard Pagids, no way that you will get 4-2's or 14's for under £100.

So, here they are. Don't look like anything fancy to me - over to the experts - what are they? And are they worth using, or should I return them? (not too far from home).

Edit - no idea why the images are sideways - they are not on photobucket :scratch

Looks like bog standard to me. Possibly worth asking where the £200+ former price came from?

So, are the "standard" pagids any good? ...going by my experience in the GTi, they were rubbish, but that car was slightly heavier! The boxes are unopened so I might just return them.
