I would also recommend John P. He is a gent and a great guy. We have just closed the purchase of our next house and he has been most helpful. :)

Thanks Karen, A&C phoned me this afternoon to tell me that advertising with two Estate Agents was not on. This came about because I had signed up with http://www.housesimple.com before them so that I could get advertising UK wise.

My view is they are not Estate Agents/Solicitors so will see how it pans out. £230 as opposed to £6K, less than it costs to put in ASPC, and already had three viewings, but fair does, A&C have not gone live yet.

A&C told me the other day that I was not allowed to advertise with another Solicitor Karen, but not that I would not be able to advertise on ASPC, as I have already paid for this. Could not understand this as Housesimple are not a Solicitor as such, they purely advertise the house on the Internet. I had also told them before I signed that I was using Housesimple as well. I do not see how it affects them anyway, I think my contract states that I have to pay the fees no matter where the buyer comes from.

This came about because both A&C and Housesimple used the same photographer on the same day to take the pics, and she then asked A&C for a copy of the floor plan. I presume that I can cancel my listing with ASPC to see how the Internet advertising goes, then add it on if there is no success with that route.

Housesimple went live today, whereas A&C have not sent me the proofs yet for editing and approval.

tut, I would be more inclined to advertise on ASPC as that is where the vast majority of buyers will look first before resorting to the internet. As you know we have been looking for a while and hadn't even heard or seen Housesimple.
So for greatest exposure in the NE ASPC would I feel be best.

Likewsie - had never heard of house simple. I do love that house though - great amount of space.

Was thinking the same. A&C would not have even known had they not used the same photographer, which probably means they will only have to pay half of the fees.

Two choices, suspend Housesimple if possible for a while, or take my time in approving A&C draft for a couple of weeks to see if there is any action. Could always put it on eBay as well.
