There's an Indian, a Chinese, a tai, a Turkish and a steakhouse to chose from as well as the usual pubs so plenty of choice. The town is just a couple of miles from the Best Western and a lot nearer to the Beaumont. I nominate Campbell to scout them out before we all arrive. Assuming you'll be there before us.

If we leave Oulton around 4pm and given it'll be a sh*t of a journey across from Oulton Park I would guess 8pm. So a late dinner booking would be required. It might make more sense for those coming across from Oulton to eat en route and just head straight to the bar?

I was thinking it could be a challenge to actually get a quorum at any given time - you know what it's like - 20 cars set off on 8 routes all driving at VMAX - all expect to arrive in 3h20. 4 hours later, 3 are broken down, 1 has been arrested, 2 have driven the wrong way (followed sat nav to wrong destination) and the rest are spread out over a 2 hour window fuming at traffic jams and wishing they had taken the other route... it's pretty much like herding cats!
