I've had two alfas and numerous fiats, and a lancia in the past, so willing to make an exception

Do you need a driving licence or insurance for a C5?

Believe that it is not to difficult to hook up a 24V battery and get 25mph. Motorised scooters are limited to 8mph whereas the Sinclair is 15mph, but not for very long. However it would get me to Mintlaw and back.
Hard to believe that they made 14,000, but went into receivership after 5,000 were sold. I though there would be plenty on eBay, but hardly one in good condition. Plus I would still be driving a Lotus as they designed the chassis.

Followed one of these for a couple of miles to the vicinity of my home, sounded and smelt ace, was mint, exactly like this in red and dechromed, and no horrid bodykit. The old E28 M5 looks so compact nowadays

It was lovely - had trade plates in the rear window, so maybe for sale?
