Retro cool definitely, crazy price though, and panel gaps you could see from space :) . I didn't realise old Range Rovers were now so collectable.

Another alternative would be to go with a Land Rover Defender.

Spotted the Alpina, but I don't look after cars good enough to justify that.

I want a estate car not a 4 x 4 :thumbsup

Not 1 63 on autotrader of piston heads, and I think they will be a bit more than my budget.

Mads has one - albeit not as indiscreet as this one! Its tremendous!

Unfortunately one of my neighbours, has one, which has put me off for now...get one with a nice interior - or actually - i think Mads might sell his if your interested? He's in Kansas 70% of the time, so its just sitting garaged on a trickle charger :thumbsup

PS- he thinks its probably the quickest road car he owned (not sure how it compares to the new steed - but thats in itself gives you an idea of how insane it is :thumbsup

Our Insignia estate 160 SRi is brilliant, the VXR should be superb (and what I was going to suggest, but beaten to it :))

Hah, Rossybee's your man for that!

Blue rs6 looks a good car. 700 bhp on tap after a visit to MRC, which is enough really... As a daily drive, they are hard to beat. Had my C5 for 3 years and I'm not bored of it yet.

Well if its good enough for Guy Margin then you can. Pick up one of these
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C553524 and put the remainder of the money in getting a large engine in.

Sure it would be a project that Craig @ MMC would relish :D
