I have a multimeter now too! Going to try it today, to diagnose power failure to the head unit in the Elise.

Plano tool bag, really tight fit to wedge in the footwell. and has a plastic bottom so it didn't get wet :thumbsup

Wrap duct tape round an old credit card. Saves space. Small vice grips.
