S2 Exige - flat battery & locked out ! Any ideas?

Putting the key in the lock and turning the barrel doesn't pop the button up

Any ideas ?

The key only prevents the push button from opening the door. Useful for locking the car without setting the alarm on a ferry.

I also texted Craig M at the same time as posting this.

He told me this too. I managed to get a set of jump leads on it - enough to open the central locking.
