Er. Budget at full stretch I'm afraid. My guess was we are heading towards April so winters won't be cost effective. This season at least

HT "quoted me happy" today for full business cover, Lisa and me to drive, 9000 miles pa, and 6 Euro track days.

CCI have all but given up.

Any idea of one-off track day premium costs? Unless it's £90 per track, I think they've got a deal.

A worthwhile investment for next winter - the Evora is unbelievably accomplished with a set of W-Drives

Lovely car in a lovely colour! I'd also vouch for the winter tyre option. If I could have found a Set of wheels cheap enough I would have put some on the exige

We're relatively lucky in the central belt that there's really only a couple of days that you can't get about in the snow. I wouldn't be buying winters this time of year either. A big outlay especially in evora sizes.

Also ad08 prices seem extremely low at the moment.

Pneus and tyre leader. Pneus were £400 for a full set in Elise sizes this week. Not sure on the evora sizes but they are an awesome lasting track tyre and good on the road too.

Oddly for me, I have no idea what the std Evora tyre is!!

But I expect to have to fit a set ahead of Frolic.

225/40/18 fronts are £130 each and 255/35/19 rears are £230 each. All AD08's from Pneus.

Well done sir very nice, we'll soon need to change the forum name. I,ve been running all sorts of sales pitches to the other half to get back in a Lotus last weeks desperate attempt was a £4000 Elan was instantly dismissed but apparently an Evora is going to be on the cards at some point. Think it was Keith's we passed last week and a big woooaah was given with a yes were getting on of them.
