That's pretty cheap for R tyres.£720 all in. 888's, A048's are over £640 a set in tiny Elise sizes.

Have you tried Henderson Taylor for your insurance? I've just renewed with them and with their new underwriter you get unlimited UK and European trackdays, plus they were far cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere.
You're a star.

HT "quoted me happy" today for full business cover, Lisa and me to drive, 9000 miles pa, and 6 Euro track days.

CCI have all but given up.

Any idea of one-off track day premium costs? Unless it's £90 per track, I think they've got a deal.
One off track cover tends to work out at about 1% of the cars value per day so quite a bit more than £90

HT said 0.5% but all the same it's a fair whack.

Yeah the fronts are even cheaper, I paid under £120. Bargain.

Winter wise since we are talking about it I was £730 for the full set

I,ve been running all sorts of sales pitches to the other half to get back in a Lotus last weeks desperate attempt was a £4000 Elan was instantly dismissed but apparently an Evora is going to be on the cards at some point. Think it was Keith's we passed last week and a big woooaah was given with a yes were getting on of them.
You should pop over for a shot ;)

Holy cow
Slightly cheaper at Camskill, £124.95 for Fronts and £186.90 for rear AD08r's. I was thinking of getting them for Frolic, way more tread depth than the 888's etc.

Yeah. Just checked invoice and it was £740 from my tyres in oct for 18/19 combo in recommended lotus sizes (which are slightly down on oem Pirelli sizes iirc)

I'm a big fan of winters on a daily drive... but given I've got the back-up Landcruiser for the proper snowy days, I left the summers on the Evora and it's only stepped out once, when provoked.

It's surprisingly competent even at -5 on the summers it seems!

50p says I spin it tomorrow now obviously!

I've spent quite enough already!
Campbell, the man maths manual states that because you've just spent so much money, then what's another £xxxx for a set of ebay wheels ? You can trivialise the figure for the wheels by comparing it directly to the cost of the car.

Or, just go for a £200 powedercoat job.
