Sprint at Ingliston, Sunday 15th October
The MLR are organising a timed sprint at Ingliston (next to Edinburgh airport) next Sunday from 9am to 7pm.
Places are restricted to a maximum of 30 cars, and there are currently 8 slots remaining. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis. So far it's mostly EVOs and some Skylines that are taking part, but the event is open to all.
This will be one car on track at a time, and it will be against the clock - time to see how you really compare against other cars and drivers ! A bit like Alford, but a more interesting track layout
Full details on the event and how to book (please quote if you are an SIDC member when booking - may get it at MLR member rates as we have an long standing arrangement with the MLR to allow memebers of each club to book onto each others events at member's rates).
Cost will be £45 for non members, and £30 for MLR members (and possibly SIDC members).
It should be a cracking day out, and I would be there if I wasn't on holiday next week.

I've just booked in on this one....Ed's decided to mince out....anyone else up for it, or am I the sole representative for TSE this weekend?
Paul, you know the GT3 wants to make its motorsport debut, just before you change the tyres

Really glad you guys are going along. Will keep the Evo guys in check.Andy G wrote:Not sure mate. Thought I'd probably be there for 9-ish?
Big D, any thoughts on this one??

It's scheduled to start a 9am so getting there for 9am or possibly just before would be fine I'd reckon. I don't know when the action will start as this is the first one they have had up here. Hopefully shouldn't be too much waiting.

Looking forward to this.

Update on time to be there at..................

A bit earlier than I thought.Competitors need to be there for 8am for sign on, briefing, sighting laps etc, with spectators arriving between 9am and 10am - we need to lock the gates after this time apparently, although parking is available by the East gate and you can walk in...
