Exige S2 Tow Post

Post by hendeg » Mon Feb 23, 2015 11:10 am

Anyone have any idea where I can get a new tow post for the Exige.? The usual places only list for the 01-04 cars with the single bolt at the top.

I've tried Lakeside Engineering who advertised them but they don't have stock.

It is the right one but their stock shows Factory Order.

Craig has the car just now for a few bits and pieces and I was hoping to replace this at the same time so looking for someone that would have it in stock.

Thanks.

Hi Gary,

I happen to have a spare tow post (stainless) as it was not required as didn't have to remove clam on the 2-11 for the oil pipe Union recall. If you still require it ,it is here in stirling, bought from hanger 111 a couple of months ago (I think Kev and I got the last 2 available ,as everyone seems to be changing them while clam is off due to the recall).
let me know if it is any good to you.

Looks like something out of the Anne Summers catalogue.

It maybe could have been made from solid ALU bar, but well... It's not anything like as heavy as I thought it'd be, but certainly won't save weight.

It will once Mrs Woody has ripped it out the crash structure with her unique over-zealous towing technique.

For anyone else, I bought and fitted one of these and was happy with the quality!
