Seatbelt Warning and Exhaust

Post by rawsco » Sat Mar 07, 2015 1:23 pm

Hi Guys, first questions on the Exige...

The car is fitted with the Schroth ASM 4point harness which I love, however when using obviously the seatbelt light buzzes away annoyingly. Any way this can be easily be disabled? I also have seen online some conjecture that when the seatbelts are not fastened the Airbags will not go off in an impact, according to Schroth the ASM harness is airbag approved. so obviously Id prefer maximum protection in the event of a smash.

Anyway... As predicted by others, the exhaust note is somewhat dull, any suggestions on a decent exhaust I can put on the birthday present list... Don't like drone, love pops and bangs.

Cheers,

Ross

I think that the seatbelt sensor can be unplugged, but not sure where it is exactly. Under the seats????

Exhaust choice would be 2bular http://2bular.co.uk/#

As Steve says the connector is under the seat. I don't know if this affects airbag deployment but I've unplugged mine as it was a bit annoying. The alternative is something like this:
