Clarky taking it out for a gentle excercise I would imagine.

Where about did you see me?

Claire and I did go for a wee Sunday run yesterday, very civilised, leisurely 250 mile jaunt. took us all day to cover that distance.

Did I flash you in a red Vx220 with an E46 M3 behind you?

Yes, was in red vx, didn't see you flash was we passed on the bends.

I was following the E46.

What a fantastic run with the sun out and a chance to finally see what the ZZR's are like.

Such a nice day for a run,

The e46 was behind you when we passed I think - gave you a wee flash, Claire asked if I knew you and I said - 'probably an SE'er '

How did you like the ZZR's? I changed the wheels on N3 and it's now on toyo's - I prefer them to the avons TBH.

This was the one photo I took, looks ok since it was taken from inside.

I got nitron street series fitted not long ago which are on about 80% of the maximum stiffness I am told, I thought it was way too harsh until I dropped the tyre pressure since new tyres were fitted (>30psi), feels good now at 26r/24f psi.

I forgot I was on ZZR's last week which was interesting. I probably will only do 2/3 trackdays per yr, so mostly road miles and since it's not dry that often I think i'd prefer an all rounder tyre in future. I had some toyo's on previously which were fine but I think these ZZR's are wider as well so quite a jump in grip (more than I dare to try in the dry yet). What toyo's are you using clark? I have my old set still, probably put them on for winter.

I also seen a couple of other SE'ers. Archie (yellow esprit) and red elise (cant remember username). Also numberous astons, porsche, ferrari (boring!)

Cheers,
Stewart

You don't have ZZR's, you have Federal 595 RS-R's.

Avon ZZR looks mostly like R888..
VX220 SC

Parajet V3 Moster 185

N3 is using Toyo R1R's

Currently 27psi F+R set at cold.

IMO a great fast road tyre - I had not used them before now, the car feels a lot better than it did with the ZZR's, however, that could be due to the delamination/separation of the rear tyres!

the front isn't as compliant as I would like, but that just needs an adjustment in my driving style coming from Front Engine RWD cars to the mighty N3 !
