Not trying to make you feel bad Stu but both weather and track were awesome , just need to improve the driving to match
on the plus side there were not many cars quicker than me ( driving standards must have been poor or my car flatters me!)apart from the race cars and the marshalls were using blue flags (a lot) so you could get fast runs as everyone got out the way. All in all a really good day.

That sounds much more improved from the last Javelin day Dave mentioned. It was really awful, very very busy on track, race cars everywhere doing fast laps then holding you up next lap not moving over, hire caterhams cutting you up on corner entry etc etc. Really put me off the Javelin days too and I've done lots of trackdays. That was the worst to date by far, just couldn't get a flow at all.

Glad they've learned and you enjoyed it. :thumbsup

Absolutely brilliant day first time out at Oulton. Started off cautiously but by end of day was feeling really comfortable on most of the track and was having a ball. Not quite got Cascades or Druids sussed yet so may have to go back.
Javelin fears unwarranted. Briefing made the rules very clear and marshalls made good use of blue flags with drivers responding well. Driver behaviour and etiquette was as good as I have seen anywhere.
Many thanks to Pete for the 2-11 experience. I just checked on Pistonheads and there are none for sale!

Nice to meet those I ran into at Oulton - that was me with the purple Elise. Also thanks to Pete for the ride in the 2-Eleven. I can confirm none for sale on Pistonheads; I may have checked too... :)
