I have a set of forged pistons and rods plus new liners and balanced flywheel that would go nicely with tut's head and your existing block.

I also have a 220 head available, if you are interested.

Cheers,
Robin

NO boys its not. This is the Mule.

The RLC was race car 2007 vintage, which was actually spectacularly reliable - a race season, 27 trackdays (12k miles) and it still went fine. It actually I believe raced right up to last year on the same engine with no HGF.

The Mule was bought in 2008/9 initially as a car for my mates & family to try trackdays. Became a race car for the 2010 season, which lasted 4 rounds due to wife becoming pregnant!

Since then its been a trackday slapper, experience legend, and now onwards for a new life with Mr Robson.

Gutted to hear it had HGF though......clear Scotts version of rough love was a touch too rough. (not sure when I last drove it, but thinking 2012  )

We need a new name, and I'm thinking the Mule might have evolved to the Donkey, which clearly Scott has just "punched" :cheers

Gasket will hopefully be repaired in time for the next sidc day. What is everyone's recommendations for gaskets?

I was very tempted to make a kick ass k series from the parts available from Robin and Tut but the money may well be better spent on saving for a Honda conversion.

I think the Mule may well have evolved into Donkey. that is the same name we came up with when we were chatting to Andy at Automek. Better than the name given to it by Toria when the car was at the experience company, Barbie [FLUSHED FACE] as it was Ken's (Ken's old Exige) mate

Was there not a massssive thread on here about paper gaskets?

I think you should KingK it rather than a Honda, I would build you one but not time right now.

Actually is a Honda not lighter and more powerful than a K?

No David, your car is called ken as it has Ken's old plate on it. The other lotus picked up the name barbie from Tori and Megan as it was Ken's mate.
