Elise 260

Post by Mike Scib » Sat May 30, 2015 11:55 pm

That time again, another new car! Well the Civic seemed like a good idea in my head at the time (they all do) but just didn't cut it on track tbh, shame as I really enjoyed it as a road car. Anyway.....

After approaching Jim (Highlander) a few days ago I picked up his Elise 260 today as this weeks new toy car and most probably Frolics car! .

Well what can I say, super impressed with the way the car goes, corners and stops! Its a credit to Mike who built the car with the attention to detail in the build :thumbsup

For those that don't know the car was a 111R which Mike fitted the 2-11 Supercharger and Intercooler set up so running around 260bhp!! Also got loads of other goodies, Nitron 40's with fully refurbished wishbones, Probax seats plus lots more! Pretty sure it is the only Elise running this set up 8)

Grab a cuppa and have a read of Mikes build thread...

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Not really, you would be surprised at it's road manners. Nitron's can be dialed back and it is much better than a standard Elise. Other than no boot space it is a better road Elise than any other I have owned or driven.
