unfortunately Mike they won't be staying on the car, the centre locks they originally used on them are not fit for road use and aredown right dangerous even, they were fit for show only (those pics above are from before it was stripped).

Lotus have been re-working all 20 cars with brand new engines, gearboxes, wiring looms, subframes, paint, etc to bring them back upto a new cars standards.

They have also been getting new bespoke wheels with the std 5-stud fixing and new wishbones to address all the early handling issues they had with them. The cars as they stood where completely un-fit for use, the fancy gearbox and engine never worked properly together and the handling was to be desired. From all reports I've had so far they have pretty much sorted them to how they should have been, well soon see!!

Gav, you always have been crazy :-)

Loving the fact you built the second car out of bits left over from the first car.

Remember seeing all those Evora corralled at Hethel last time we were there ... good to see one has escaped (and perhaps there are others on the loose too? Or where those different Evora?).

Cheers,
Robin

Great work to Mike and Gav on two very impressive cars.

Fantastic collection, the Exige build photos are excellent, I love your combination of attention to detail AND performance, so many cars built for the track are so rough around the edges. The only issue for me is that I wouldn't want to take them near a track! ;)
