It is entirely reasonable to suppose that the mystery man knew nobody at the funeral and just likes to attend funerals, picking up women.
If the mystery man was in any of those sets then it would have been easy for the woman to find him by asking friends and relatives.
If the method of "advertising" the mother's funeral is the same as that of the sister's and the funeral is held at the same place on the same day of the week as the mother's then there is a high chance of the mystery man appearing. It would also be reasonable to simply attend every funeral going until you bump into him again, of course.
Finally, psychopaths are not necessarily logical ... so your set analysis is unlikely to have been the first thing that went through her head.
Cheers,
Robin

What does it say about me that I don't care what the answer is, because this reeks of internet bullsh*t, and my first instinct is to prove that the premise of the question (e.g. psychopath testing) is nonsense and the whole thing is just a made-up chain email or Facebook fodder.

Sorry.
