Getting a wee bit confused as to what the 'proper' name for my Elise is?

is it just an S or S2 or S mk 2, i'm new to all this so sorry if this is a daft question!

If so Lotus Elise S2 S.

It is an S2 Elise S but it's the 2nd version of the Elise with that name so you may find yourself explaining it to people. The previous S had a standard 120bhp K series in it.

Although S1 and S2 aren't official model designations

so Elise S officially....
