Donald,

The tyres are the same price from Ronnie as they are on here; http://bmtrracing.com/lotus-on-track/

So £590 for a set in Elise S2 sizes and I paid more than that direct from Avon unfitted.

Good deal from Ronny then. :thumbsup

Does she have a Jeep called Dixie? And legs right up to her neck?

Nice work, Steve.

My car already has tyres, so I have just bought me my Frolic shoes. Nice pair of Skechers from the Orlando Outlet store :-)

Spent a small fortune on golf attire and shoes too (at Izod) but that's another matter...

Only 3 weeks to go.

Some of you may remember at Spa last year (and since) my car had a metallic clink from somewhere around the right rear that we couldn't trace?
I've been through everything from heat shields, brakes, bushes etc....

Last night I removed the right rear wheel (to go to Ronnie for new tyres) and bouncing it there is something clinking inside!
Maybe a wheel weight inside accidentally or maybe put inside to help balancing and it's come off (never heard of anyone doing that before).

Anyway, clinking mystery solved. Just need Ronnie to tell me what it was. :)

(It's been driving me bonkers)

Oh and yes, the 2-eleven was still on it's original ZZR's from SpaZ last year!

I forgot Croft! That's 8 trackdays...

No Tyre pressure sensor doofer in the 2-eleven.
Yep BigD fronts have 3-4mm left (although they are a bit blue).

I'd bet when the fitter was scraping the old weights off the rim, one went flying, got lost and ended up being inside the new tyre sitting next to the machine...

I've never had a bad deal from Ronnie, fits the tyres at the house on all our cars and at a convenient time in the evening 8)
He's undercut Grassicks by £60 on a pair of front runflats for the "coiffure coupe" and hassle free fitment at home :thumbsup

Don't suppose anyone heading to Knockhill this weekend would be able to pick up my tyres and take to Edinburgh (south gyle) or Glasgow-shire somewhere?

Can't get up to KH on Saturday annoyingly and Sunday looks iffy.. but might be ok so just looking for a plan B option. Just collection, I don't need Ronnie to fit anymore.

Cheers.

Dave.
