My credit card bills are now in (gulp).

So here is the final die riechtung / l'additon / la cuenta for my Frolic...

Frolic booking cost £864 (3 tracks + hotel, room only, 6 nts from Sunday through to following Friday)
Le Shuttle return £180
Tolls £175
Fuel - journey - 3000 miles at ~16p per mile = £480
Fuel - trackdays - £90
Other hotels - 3 nts outward, 1 nt return - £245
Food & drink £408
Tyres £190 (half wear)
Brakes £350 (front and rear pads)
Breakdown cover £60

Total = £2907

Best £3k I've spent in a loooong time.

I also expect to be paying for it for a loooong time. And not in financial terms either

On reflection. £3k bought me a 10 day trip, properly focused on me and my friends, not kids, wife, wider family, clients or suppliers, for once.

Now THAT'S a holiday worth way more than £3k.

Evoranomics at work again, people. Awesome.

Three half days!

Evora melts its tyres after 6 laps so I spent lots of time analysing data in the pits

Nope. £300 per day all-inclusive for a 10-day trackday roadtrip of a lifetime ;-)

Would tend to believe that....

Had a conversation with DDtB a week or so after Frolic, and was chatting about costs. His budget was about circa 20% under Campbell's, so making allowances for DDtB's advanced Man Maths skills, I can quite believe Campbell's figures as being accurate.
