S1 interior light

Post by Cawdors1 » Sat Oct 31, 2015 9:16 pm

Is the interior light supposed to go straight off when the door shuts, or is there supposed to be a delay? Finding it a bit of a pain as I work late most nights so a delay would be good. Suppose I could always wire in a delay relay off Ebay...Jon

Goes straight off. Standard S1 answer "delay circuits are heavy" ;)

Replace the bulb with one of those ultra bright LEDs while you are at it.

Ohh, I like that idea. The standard one is useless when you need it - when you drop something down the foot well!

Use a red one so that when the pax flips on it on at 70mph you are not blinded.
