I'm off to buy a lottery ticket.....

In a rather astonishing stroke of luck, following a full diagnosis by CMC, it was discovered that the Exige's bottom pulley had cracked and slipped rather than a complete timing belt failure. The amazing bit being that the engine has not consumed itself and I'm off to pick it up tomorrow without having to cancel Christmas and buy each family member individual VHPD parts as a sly way to pay for a rebuild. I believe I may owe Robin something for some parts off his old car. Thanks Robin :D

Happy days...

Unbelievable (that any parts remain from Robin's car that is)

Brilliant news. But what to do with 16 valves on individually mounted commemorative plaques...
