Re: SIDC 14th May
Yes it would. John Stewart organises these days and they are always well run with good driving standards generally; KH generally allow people some slack so long as they're not causing a nuisance to others and that works well on days where the people driving have some respect for each other - e.g. SIDC day at KH is good, hot hatch day at KH not so muchRyan wrote:Would this be suitable to pop the trackday cherry? John is on here as JohnStewart so you can PM him for details on how to book, etc.
If you've never driven on track I strongly suggest you see about organising a bit of tuition - I think KH's instructors are often available on SIDC days - ask John about that too.
Cheers,
Robin

Cheers. After looking into it I can't manage that weekend, but will keep SIDC events in mind for getting out there.

Re: SIDC 14th May
We always have one of Knockhill's expert instructors available to use free of charge at any of our events. Even BTCC some drivers go out with them for a few laps when they first arrive to find out pointers about what has changed in the track since last year etc.
Just grab them from the pit lane, and they will go out with you for a few laps at a time (they can drive or you can drive), give you some pointers, go off and parctice on your own for a bit and then get them again later in the session
