FFS.... Me again

Sorry, I know this is getting boring!

Was in for a wee visit today (should have a room in there) This time I've had my newly refurbished GAZ Gold Pro shocks fitted, heights set, damping set, full fast road geo (Hopefully keep me on the black stuff), windscreen washers re-aligned, wiper blade replaced (now I can see where I'm going), door glass adjusted to seal better (should keep me dry).

What with all the ablove and my Toyo Snow Proxes fitted the other week I'm ready for all winter can throw at me.... I hope

Thanks to craig and his team for yet another top job! once again at a fantastic price with no drama, kept updated and received a call early afternoon to say that the work was all completed without any complications. :thumbsup

Cheers
Mark :cheers

My turn > everything that has already been said:

Great communications
Great service
Went out of his way and went above and beyond what I would expect: collecting + dropping car off, texts etc.
Best of all > saved me a potentially huge bill!
Thanks again Craig if you're reading.

Just collected my S1 from its yearly visit to Craig.

Needless to say it's running better than ever. As always he was on the phone letting me know progress and the car feels as good as new.

I even bent his ear about club racers for a good half hour before heading on my way ;)

It's always well worth the drive up to have him look after the car and I cant praise the service highly enough.

Very scenic drive back through the Borders with the snow on the ground too!

No issues on the way home, despite the snow the car felt very planted. Don't think I got to full throttle opening once however!

Don't really want to start a new thread for this and I think it belongs here just as much. Without craigs help+patience I probably wouldn't have bought this car. It's the best car I've owned and it's my first lotus (still have the VX220...). Absolutely love it. Love the looks and how it drives. I am on the hunt for a sports back box if anyone sees any or is selling one. The car has sports pack, reverse sensors, heated seats, decat and a very good media system.

Thanks again craig/CMCif you're reading, easily the best service I have had by a long way. The seller was also craig who was a gent to deal with.

Don't know what all the fuss is about, keeps bothering me with questions about a perfect car that I sent down to him for an MOT, and all he does is find fault with it.

No car Tut has owned for more than 10 minutes is anything like perfect ... remember pigpen off peanuts ...

Anyway, my car is spotless!! I had not realised when I collected yesterday because it was dark and yucky and wet but Egor is totally spotless. The tub looks like somebody has licked it clean. The brake callipers have been painted it seems. Oh, and it goes like sh*t off a shovel :-)

Thanks Craig!

Craig's trademark Robin, he cleans the disks off then sprays them with a special ali paint so that rust does not show through.

Do you know what the VTEC is set at?

VTEC is totally standard 'cos I am running standard Honda ECU - it feels like 6,000-6,500 RPM somewhere and only on full throttle. Suits me - I don't want it coming in on the road ;-)

If anyone has Craig's mobile number could someone pm it to me?
He borrowed some Bmw timing tools from me and needing them back.
Thanks

My evora needed the 5 year service a few weeks ago. The big one. The expensive one.

Good news was it was carried out to the CMC insanely high standards with him even trusting me with his mighty TT to get to work and back. It was also a useful few hundred quid cheaper than if been quoted when Craig worked at MMC.

When I came to pick the car up I was given the bill and also a list of things I'd need to do in the next few thousand miles.

One of these was the clutch, whjch is an engine out job in the evora.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

Good news is that CMC prices are at least a grand, if not two grand cheaper than lotus prices. Craig also arranged for a wheel to be refurbished and fitted the discs id supplied. All done and dusted within a week and I was dropped off and picked up from the station.

The overall bill wasnt tiny but by the time id got home id almost managed to convince myself it was worth it. The car feels epic.

So a huge thanks from me - wouldn't put my car anywhere else.

Well guess what?... CMC did a really great job on my car again.

My elise was in CMC last week for some new ball joints and a few other bits to get sorted. All done in the timescale, top quality service, and a very reasonable price. Not only did I get a left to and from the station, but Craig also lent me my train fare back to Glasgow (I had mistaken my passport in my pocket for my wallet as I rushed out the house)  . I only discovered the error of my ways after Craig had dropped me at the station...

Now, for all those happy CMC customers, go and give him some positive reviews on Google and FB :thumbsup
