Only just saw this thread.robin wrote:Nah, I'll still be running on road tyres, so cornering won't be any faster than the unbaffled K. No doubt somebody will tell me I have to have a baffled sump or my Honda will explode, but they don't know how slowly I drive these days!
Same cornering speed my a.rse! With that boat anchor in the back!!!
I Will BE THE FASTEST!!! MWAH MWAH MWAH MWAH.
With my light and fleet footed K powered* Elise I will dance around them all like a, errm, dancer.

Re: Egor back on the road
The boat anchor in the back is ballast to balance out the sack of potatoes in the driver's seat

I'm sure the standard Stark kit has a baffled sump kit included btw Robin, unless you decided not to fit it?

I am bored of the numerous mechanical question phone calls I got, "can you build me a 250bhp K, pretty please" etc.campbell wrote:He outsources all that kind of stuff now. Far too busy being a tech guru I hear

Too kind - however I really haven't had time over the last few years and I genuinely know next to nothing about it - except it goes quite quickly compared to old Egor.
Cheers,

Re: Egor back on the road
If it's the same as Andy's it is really rapid, couldn't believe how fast Andy's was at Donnington. That said his throttle stuck open when he took me out. Maybe that made it feel super fast.
