I don't have alerts setup though sometimes check the UK site, but by all accounts there wasn't an alert last night. By chance I saw a notification via the Gullane Facebook page at midnight, threw a coat on and went outside :)

Thanks. A bottle of wine at Mother's Day lunch meant I didn't see 10pm never mind midnight yesterday, but might get the Mrs to subscribe, or whatever you do (I don't do fb) to that page anyway in case mentioned again.

Was even visible in Bridge of Don in Aberdeen while out walking the dog at 2000. disappeared though when the snow came down around 2200......

Thats cool. Spent many an hour while working at the airport whale watching at Sumburgh Head. Never saw any whales though. :damnfunny
