In a spectacular example of poor diary planning, James' 9th birthday party (Combat, at Xtreme Edinburgh) has been set for 12 noon on this day. At Newbridge, Edinburgh.

So that's the end of that :-(

Oh well. Maybe later in the year.

you have a very understanding wife and family that allow you to go to the SIDC day at KH rather than attend your sons birthday bash........I suppose there will be plenty more birthdays, and you know what day they will be on etc.....or is that not what your post says!!! :D :D

My mother (who is German) always says that English is not an easy language to Master....even though she is 88 and been here since 1948...

My mother, also German, has perfect grasp of the language but never lost her accent, which she can use to good effect when she is not wanting to understand/be understood ;-)

Anyway, birthdays are a complete nonsense - each day is the start of the rest of your life/the end of your life so far. Why we care how many times (approximately) the planet has rotated around the sun I never will understand!

I do need to see if I can make the SIDC day, though ... assuming there are still spaces left?

Cheers,
Robin

Lol, Martin. An eats shoots and leaves moment there, and no mistake!

Robin, the birthday is the excuse for the party. That's all :-)

Guess it doesn't really matter any more! Important thing is that John feels able to keep doing the sterling organising job, which is SE's primary route to high driving standards at KH circuit.

Big thumbs up from me. Albeit a long time since I have been able to take part :-(
