Looked like a owners club trackday - I stopped for coffee while out on my bike! :)

cant be both ;-)

Every third car at ring and Spa was a GT4, such a cool car and sounds very purposeful! One was dragged from the ring same morning that I was resued with the wheels pointing in all directions, heartbreaking to see but the guy didn't seem bothered  lol..... I'd have been in tears

Didnt' realise so many here had ordered one. I put my deposit down on day 2, think I was told I was number 17 or something silly.... they still have it - always gets a glimmer of hope each time I am about to take it back!

Also tried to order a 911R though I had my deposit swiftly returned. Surprised you didn't get allocated one Andy - what happened?

Why are you leaving your deposit in with them if I may ask?
I was told that there are no more GT4 allocations or build slots and so no more cars available. :?

Have you been told something different?

I believe there are internet rumours that they will build more GT4's with the new Cayman style but it may be well off. Porsche UK will probably handle the allocations better this time but we all know it will be existing GT4 owners who will get the option to trade up first.

Yeah, every time I am about to pull it I get fed just enough hope that there's always a chance they make more, or PDK versions, gen 2 like Douglas is saying.

Was it Porsche Edinburgh you were speaking to Simon?

It was Porsche Glasgow I was dealing with. Categorically told no more GT4's of current 6 cylinder format. Not to say they wind do a 718 GT4 down the line but even then the chances of me getting one being a non Porsche customer at the minute is slim to none. I actually tried to buy a used 911 ( glad I didn't in the end though) and the way I was handled wasn't great for that either.

Its a whole lotta nice... But I'm not sure it's ninety nine thousand nices. Especially when there is a 911 turbo next to it for £88k.... Or a cab 911 turb for 84k.

That's the same one I saw over a week ago, so obviously not been "snapped up" at £99k.

(I actually went to look at the new Boxster. Their demo car was at £72k!!! £72 thousand pounds... For a Boxster... and you could add more spec to it and make it more expensive. Yikes)
