A thoroughly enjoyable trip despite the car problems limiting track time. Two great tracks and thanks to Ali Stu and Mike for entertaining me on track during my enforced sabbatical. Managed to limp home and took the car in to Craig today. The CV joints are OK but the gear oil is full of metal particles. Will find the scale of the problem when the box comes out later this week.

Thats not so good Gordon, although not much in it to fix cost wise. I fitted a box from ES, £550, 2 years and its still going strong in the 211. Perhaps an opertunity to upgrade to an LSD as well..

Have a word with Dave at Seriously Lotus, he had some brand new gearboxes with Lsd fitted going very cheap.
Not sure if he has any left, you maybe lucky.
If you need to go even faster, just imagine you are me.
