Not sure what your budget is but if you do decide to buy one my brother's is now up for sale. It's a white Sports Racer S - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... ?v=c#/home

Had no idea it was your brothers Saj.

Was all set to call and discuss when the ad price jumped up £2k. :?

And then disappeared from PH and jumped another £2k on AT. :?

Decided seller was all over the shop and it wasn't worth even worth any conversation.

Real shame as I would have probably paid more than he's now asking....

He did that because I said to him he'd put it on way to cheap and had to consider people would negotiate 1 or 2k on the price.

Not quite sure what he was doing at this point :damnfunny I know he's been getting pissed about by a lot of people calling about the car coming in with silly offers and I'm sure the ad disappeared because he had someone and then they backed out at the last minute - just the usual rubbish when selling your motor privately. I may actually say to him to leave the car up here in Scotland and see if it easier to sell to someone up here as down south there are just so many time wasters. My younger brother who also lives down south has his 2013 Elise S up for sale and has had the same experience with people.

At least it's not blue either.

Good to see you and growing family on Sunday, Simon. Get back in the fold, been too long.

I suspect Tony's S will be priced a little more than the £30k I'm looking at.

Campbell, I would say it was good to see you too but you were wearing green tights so I kind of wish I hadn't now

I didn't actually make it to the car club area yesterday. Got there too late (partly after sitting in a queue to get in for over 45 mins) and spent most of our time chatting, watching the hillclimb and the soapbox race. I did have a seat in the 400 that Murrays had. I know the interior has changed but there looked to be plenty of space behind me in the back for a child.

There is quite a bit more rear seat leg room in the 400 compared to the previous model so I wouldn't use that as a guide.

Have you not sold your blue Evora yet Campbell ? If you're ever thinking of a career change, maybe best not going down the car salesman route
