Rosberg knows he has peaked, one less failure in qualifying and Hamilton would have won, without the Malaysia failure it would have been a breeze.

Would be good to see Jenson grab that seat, he and Hamilton seemed to work quite well together in the McLaren days and given all the changes it would be good to have the most experienced people you can get.

If anything Merc favoured his win so they had 2 world champions on the books, with that in the bag next year he was going to be 'on his own' so makes sense to leave on a high
I would love to see Alonso, Verstappen, Jenson or Kimi join the team but I think in reality it will be Werlein or another relative newbie.

thinking more about it, I can maybe see them giving him a years contract whilst they sort out a long term strategy..
