Working late tonight. Have just had some inside info on Tuk tuk; they were due to open in November but are having gas supply issues and it's looking like a January opening.

Table for 20 provisionally booked in the newly refurbished Cellar at Mother India on Westminster Terrace / (west end) Sauchiehall Street (the original, not the cafe) at 6pm - 8pm on Thursday 29th December. No set menu, but the menu will be similar to the (Tapas) style of Mother India's Cafe.

It's also a stone's throw from the Lorne Hotel where a few of us have booked rooms

They require a £10 per head deposit (which will come off the bill of course) when the booking is confirmed. Can you please re-state if you can make it as I'll pony up the deposit.
