We may be able to club together to buy it as a Ring tool. Export it to Germany, register and insure it there, then make a rota for Spa & Ring double header weekends :damnfunny

MMC showing how poor their service is yet again for another fellow Evora owner over on the Scottish Elises facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/164073736690

Will screenshot it and post here later on when I get a chance for those of you not on Facebook or in the group - it is a closed group.

The John Martin Group have sold their bodyshop to a third party. It retains Lotus approval and accreditation. JM retain their Lotus dealership and service operations.

Sometimes I think we forget the value of having someone from Lotus HQ on our forum membership. Cheers, Graeme.

Craig will service it for you no bother, why risk it when you don't have to?

SAJ, it's sad to read you've been unable to resolve everything mentioned... I really had hoped you'd find a route. It's certainly very different for me as I'm continuing to have excellent service, support and sales from Murrays. Questions, phone calls, emails, warranty topics and responsiveness seems very swift from both Ian and Nick. My car will be in end of next month to some minor paint work (minor factory issues) and will certainly be under my watchful eye. Given how they've handle my previous car issues and new purchase I'm quietly confident it will be done without issue.

Despite your nightmare situation I see Murrays doing all the right things to improve over the last 4-5 months. While youve been left helpless... (hence frustration in seeing your struggle - it shouldn't have to be that way) :(

For me Murrays are my nearest dealer whom many of us need to stick around. So I simply want to share the other side too within your thread. For now I have to do a 7hr round commute to head to Edinburgh and certainly wouldn't do this if I felt Murrays had totally lost it.

I dream of a day when someone opens a lotus dealership in Aberdeen :damnfunny id save a bloody fortune in petrol and train tickets :D

If they were really that great from a service point of view they'd have done the right thing and admitted to the crap work they had done on my car and done whatever it took to get it rectified.

Services are always great from most places when mistakes aren't made, but the difference between crap customer care and great customer care is how you are treated when things don't go right.

MMC left me with a car in a state worse than when I gave it to them and then admitted to nothing except forgetting to fit the carpet. There could be 100 more reviews like yours but it will never change how they treated me and my car.

The point of this thread is to serve as a warning to everyone, when MMC screw up dont expect to get the fluffy service you get now. I know of 3 other people who have had really crap service from MMC, I'm hoping at somepoint they decide to tell their story too.

I don't need MMC now as my car is out of warranty anyway and I've already had David Hayton touch base with me to help resolve my airbag issue too.

If I sound bitter it is because I am, this whole saga has left a bad taste in my mouth given the customer loyalty I showed them in the past.
