I enquired about an Elise at Howard's in Weston-super-Mare.
I asked if they'd fit harnesses (incl. bar) as part of the deal ... but, they tell me the don't offer that service. Seems weird.
Has anyone had this done to a series 3 Elise in Scotland lately? Just wondering where and (roughly) how much.
Cheers.

Steve.

Eric, I bought the harness bar from Seriously Lotus and fitted it myself in around an hour. It uses the existing seat belt mounts.

I don't have any experience of fitting to an S3, but in the S1 it's a doddle. Also worth keeping the standard three point seatbelts in situ - really handy for those short journeys.

Aye, I was thinking the same.
The dealer has recommended Hangar111.

Oh wow. I thought the seats had to come out.

Cheers. Yeah, I had harnesses in my Exige and it was good to have the seatbelts in - mostly for passengers … as their size varies.

The bar goes in easy enough with seats in place but the seats need to come out anyway to get the harnesses fitted. This bar saves removing and cutting the rear panel to get the standard bar fitted.
