luckily stole my dads car for work - though it is a rear drive merc

will fun getting home today. It was all over the place just now even with the traction control on.

who else without a garage failed to put the car cover on?

First Winter with the Liz - the snow part won't be too bad for the car I reckon, but I fear that the thaw will mean puddles in the footwell!

Top tips:

Cover up the rad outlets in the bonnet and the vents over the engine bay. Melting snow over the engine makes it likely that water will find it's way into something and the snow on the rad outlets will block airflow - also when the rad's hot the snow will drop onto it, boil, and a cloud of steam will fog the windscreen - fun!

Also, I don't have to mention take it fecking easy! You will have NO grip anywhere when it's cold and slushy. Drive miss daisy, you won't regret it

Just had a genius idea - pull black binliner over the bonnet & Engine cover then close 'em. Obviously only an idea for leaving the car outside, not driving!

Ah, so they fitted the S2 heater to the VX then....

S1 heaters mate - nuclear! No probs at all with the roof off in munus conditions at night with a wooly jumper and a beanie hat.

Just back to Livingston after a wee drive to Biggar via Edinburgh.

All the roads are very snowy, plenty of cars slipping about and stuck.

Can't beat a Jeep Cherokee in the snow

Anyone want to buy it?
